We are pleased to announce that Ken Evans has been appointed to the Engineering Technology Advisory Group, supporting the development of a new Engineering Technology subject for Year 12 and Year 13 students across New Zealand.
The initiative aims to give students practical insight into engineering careers, industry expectations, emerging technologies and future opportunities.
As a member of the Advisory Group, Ken will contribute industry knowledge and practical experience, helping ensure the new curriculum reflects the skills and capabilities needed in modern engineering workplaces.
The curriculum development process will run from September 2026 to February 2027 with consultation commencing in October.
We are proud to contribute our industry experience to this initiative and help inspire and prepare the next generation of New Zealand's engineering talent.
