Tekam project managed the install of high tech VSEP effluent treatment technologies in the Taranaki. The system included Odour source control and treatment. Pictured above is the VSEP yellow tower with membrane and below the scrubber towers and condenser under construction.

Pet Food Abattoir
Processing up to 85 carcasses per day. Fixed platform to prepare for pelt pulling.
Pelt puller using continuous chain system, developed by Tekam Engineering.
Halving and quartering rig, with a rise and fall platform and rail lowering section.
Calf & Sheep Dressing Plant
Calf & Sheep dressing plant in NZ. Capacity 4 per minute. This system includes our Sheep & Calf Pelt puller. The in-feed of the animals is by an 8 M long Restrain Conveyor.
Pig Abattoir Capacity 100 Per Day
The image shows the Knocking box & landing table at the back, De-hairing / scalding bath followed by the scraping table.
The whole complex consisted of 3 Refrigerated shipping containers. Made to process and chill 100 pigs per day. Complete with Boning room. Made in NZ to export Hygiene standards.
Transported to PNG and commissioned by Tekam Engineering in March 2017.
Rendering Plant Storage Bin
Capacity 15 Ton chicken waste. Feeds the product into the Cookers by means of an screw conveyor.
In process of being installed in PNG.
All parts made in New Zealand to fit into a shipping container.
